I push through by planning ahead and being honest to myself about what I can and cannot do. In the event I do push myself too hard, I must take time to recuperate by isolating myself for a few days. (Fully disabled as a result of mental trauma, so I can fully relate to things that can limit your options in life drastically) Hope you will recover well and quickly!

Professional help is a strong suggestion, but if that's out of reach then the following are examples of things you can do yourself: Don't worry about the things you can't affect. Easier said than done, but you can always start by stopping to read the news and social media. Bring the information you take into yourself back down to something manageable and focus on what you can do rather than on what you can't do. If FOMO is burning you out as you watch all those perfect people having everything and you constantly compare yourself to them: learn to be happy with what you do have, unless what you do have doesn't allow you to survive. If you're stuck in a survival state, seek professional help. You can only ever take steps forwards when you are standing on solid ground. That is to say: if you can't take care of yourself, how will you take care of others? Focus on making sure you are happy, because at that point you'll find that making other people happy becomes much easier and actually rather enjoyable. Lastly: large problems are hard to solve, so break them up into smaller problems and start focusing on them one by one. Often times large problems can cause analysis paralysis because you have too much to look at. You climb a mountain step by step and by looking where you're putting your feet. If all you do is look at the top, you'll just keep stumbling and falling. I hope that, despite the wall of text, it can at least help a little bit. Sincerely: someone who has seen depression's greatest depths.

@TheGourdie Don't think for others. If you want to ask someone, ask them in your own way. In my case that would be direct and / or awkwardly. If they're not interested they can ignore or say no, which is fine! Don't let the worry become the wall.

I genuinely wish I was better at reaching out to talk to people Like in all honesty i feel bad whenever I miss DMS or dont have enough courage and or confidence to talk to other vtubers I really wanna hangout with people more and make new friends and not JUST for collabs or be friends for JUST content or for alternative reasons

I think about this type of thing a lot. Honestly, it's not a simple question you can decide on easily. There are people that never invite me to things/people I never invite, but I consider them really close friends. But I also still question my friendship with people who don't talk to me unless talked to. It will always demand extra context and you can't just write off based on invitations and collab counts.

VTUBERS GENUINE QUESTION!!! If you always invite someone to your collabs but they NEVER invite you to literally anything ever. Are they actually your friend?

@CovfefeChan Friendship means you're invested in one another beyond just "I need instant gratification". The scenario you describe on its own does not give enough information to say whether someone is a friend or not.

That moment where one of your Dungeons and Dragons players manages to guess a plot point out of seemingly nowhere and you want to both hug them and hit them at the same time. Hug them, because it means you're telling the story right and they deduced one of the answers despite you not having left that many clues to it. Hit them, because now one of the surprises you had set up with quite some effort is gone and you can't slam all of them with it when they least expect it, robbing you of the sheer joy of watching them panic.
