First day of @UCLAHGP Themes in World History: Power & Democracy. Lots of great discussion about what a revolution is and how that interplays with types of power, plus the focus on the MX Rev. Got me thinking about adding to @MsGreeneEdu awesome lesson (aptly reshared today) 🤓

Celebrating Ss for their learning and growth is my favorite 🤩 End of the year awards🏆 were a hit!

My favorite part was seeing museum visitors interacting w/ the exhibit in the background while getting the bonus facts in the chat from our moderator while our docent took us around. The Ss loved the artifact cases and asking questions. Such a fun way to end the unit & our year!

8th grade Ss enjoyed a virtual field trip to @ConstitutionCtr “Civil War and Reconstruction” exhibit today. Grateful for these live opportunities for students to experience & connect with experts! I wish more museums had these experiences! #ISTECollaborator

Need something after state testing? I used ChatGPT to make quick(er) work on an end of the year breakout. ChatGPT created the scenario & turned the chapter summary into a short reading. I created a Form w/CFU ?s & clues to complete it. Ss had a blast working in groups to solve!

A little surprised when Ss asked “who is your favorite character?” You mean in the originals, the prequels, the new ones, the shows? I only get one?!? While I love Yodito, I think R2D2 takes it #May4thBeWithYou

@MsGreeneEdu @paperlearning 😔 I’m so sorry to hear this! You really helped me think differently about how I could utilize PAPER more (& better) as a history teacher. This is a loss for them, as your 🌟 will shine in another venture. Thanks for all you’ve shared and best of luck!

I am sad to say I was impacted by the layoffs today @paperlearning. I’ve loved building our professional development framework with an incredible team and building an amazing educator community through Paper Trail Blazers. I’m so grateful for my time with Paper.
