Peter Obi gets invited to talk about issues and how he plans to solve them while others get invited only to talk about Peter Obi. There are levels to these things.

The abduction of the Chibok girls in 2014 triggered a global movement. One school abduction was enough to unite Nigerians, attract international attention, and place enormous pressure on the government through the #BringBackOurGirls campaign. Yet, what has happened since then should trouble every Nigerian. Under President Buhari's eight years in office, Nigeria witnessed about ten school abductions. Under President Tinubu's administration, in just three years, we have already recorded over ten school abductions. Despite these repeated tragedies, there has been neither sustained national outrage nor significant international attention comparable to what followed Chibok. This raises an important question: have we become so accustomed to insecurity that what once shocked our national conscience is now treated as normal? At a time when millions of Nigerians are grappling with insecurity, poverty, and hardship, it is deeply troubling that those in power appear more focused on political calculations and preparations for the next election than on addressing the urgent challenges confronting our people. It is, therefore, no surprise that some observers have labelled us a "Now Disgraced Nation". While we do not agree with any attempt to define our great country by its present difficulties, we must acknowledge that persistent insecurity, economic hardship, and leadership failure have damaged our reputation and standing among nations. The answer is not denial, propaganda, or political distraction. The answer is leadership that is competent, compassionate, accountable, and genuinely committed to the welfare and security of the Nigerian people. The Nigerian youth must not become indifferent. We must all refuse to normalise failure. Young Nigerians - Take back your country! A New Nigeria is Possible. -PO

I have respect for Peter Obi as a fellow son of the South East. Many of us have suggested that he contest for a Senate seat, assuring him of our support, but he appears focused on advice from Madmen I also have admiration for Atiku Abubakar. However, after several attempts at the presidency, perhaps it is time for younger politicians to take a more active role, just as his former principal, Obasanjo, did after leaving office. As for Sowore, many believe his presidential bids are more about maintaining public visibility than mounting a serious challenge for power. Other candidates, in my view, are unlikely to pose a significant threat to the ruling party. I therefore encourage Nigerians, including those from the South East, to work together in supporting President Tinubu. I believe his leadership offers the best path toward political stability and national development.

@Karigwe Based on the last elections according to INEC, Tinubu came 1st Atiku 2nd, Obi 3rd. But somehow you keep talking abt the guy who came third, & ignore Atiku, the first runner up. Is this obsession or ment?

Peter Obi is a fraud. He does not know anything about leadership. Nothing at all. All he knows is how to talk, quote figures, mention poverty numbers, debt numbers, education numbers, health numbers, unemployment numbers, production numbers, and other useless statistics, as if leadership is about facts and figures. I really wish Tinubu and Atiku would pause their very serious campaign schedules to debate him. The way they will flaw and expose that packaged fraud eh, Nigerians will finally see that speaking with data, clarity, and confidence is not leadership. Mtcheeew.

37 years ago today, the Chinese government brutally crushed peaceful protesters in and around Tiananmen Square who were demanding an end to corruption, freedom of speech, and democratic reform. The massacre revealed a truth the world should never forget: the Chinese Communist Party will do whatever it takes to preserve its grip on power. If it did not value the lives of its own citizens, why would it value the lives of others?
