رضا پهلوی این روزها وارد مرحله عجیبی شده است؛ مرحله‌ای که دیگر فقط حرف نمی‌زند، بلکه برای زندگی روزمره مردم «دستور» صادر می‌کند. هم‌میهنان، نوروز را گرامی بدارید! هم‌میهنان، چهارشنبه‌سوری را برگزار کنید! هم‌میهنان، به طبیعت بروید! هم‌میهنان، شب پنج‌شنبه سر مزار بروید! یک لحظه صبر کن. مردم ایران هزار سال است این کارها را می‌کنند؛ بدون تو، بدون پدرت، بدون حکومت فعلی و بدون هیچ «فراخوانی». این‌ها سنت هستند، نه پروژه سیاسی. این‌ها ریشه در زندگی مردم دارند، نه در پیام‌های ویدئویی چند دقیقه‌ای. اما این‌جا مسئله فقط خنده‌دار نیست؛ مسئله خطرناک است. وقتی کسی برای نوروز و چهارشنبه‌سوری «فراخوان» می‌دهد، در واقع دارد یک چیز ساده را تمرین می‌کند: عادت دادن خودش به اینکه برای مردم تصمیم بگیرد. امروز می‌گوید جشن بگیرید، فردا می‌گوید چگونه جشن بگیرید و پس‌فردا می‌گوید چه کسی حق دارد جشن بگیرد. این همان ذهنیتی است که همیشه فاجعه ساخته است: از بالا دیدن مردم و تصور اینکه زندگی آن‌ها باید با «دستور» هدایت شود. طنز تلخ ماجرا این‌جاست: کسی که هنوز حتی یک بار از سوی مردم انتخاب نشده، نه ساختار دارد و نه پاسخگوست، اما با اعتماد به نفس کامل برای کهن‌ترین سنت‌های یک ملت «فراخوان» صادر می‌کند. این دیگر حمایت نیست، این تمرین قدرت است؛ تمرین اینکه چگونه روی چیزی که مال تو نیست بنشینی و وانمود کنی که از آنِ توست. نوروز از آنِ تو نیست. چهارشنبه‌سوری از آنِ تو نیست. این مردم قرن‌هاست بدون تو زندگی کرده‌اند و بعد از تو هم زندگی خواهند کرد. و اگر کسی فکر می‌کند با چند پیام «هم‌میهنان» می‌تواند خودش را صاحب این فرهنگ جا بزند، مشکل دیگر طنز نیست.

My dear friend; Do the Kurds even have a state for Turkey to be considered an occupier? Do you know the meaning of the word "occupation"? Turkey is an occupier in Cyprus. It means another state, which does not belong to it, has a military presence on its territory. But the situation is not like that for the Kurds. The Kurds have never had a state. The history of the Kurds dates back to 200 BC. The region they live in encompasses lands in Turkey, Syria, Iran, and Iraq. I will say it again. Your existence has a history of approximately 3000 years. However, in this 3000-year period, a Kurdish state has never been established. A NATION WITHOUT A STATE IS NOT CONSIDERED TO HAVE ITS LANDS OCCUPIED. I would like the Kurds to have their own state. Human morality demands this. However, the Kurds did not help Türkiye in the War of Independence and the Battle of Gallipoli. In 111 years, thousands of Turkish soldiers were martyred by separatist Kurds. Given this situation, it has become completely impossible for Türkiye to give land to the Kurds. "I will not ignore the blood of my martyrs." No land will be given to the Kurds in Turkey, even if it has been officially defined or given borders.
