He's right about this. Sondland's memory problems make him a less-than-ideal witness. He wasn't a note-taker or even particularly conscientious about his conversations with the president.

The president's biggest defenders on the Hill are speaking as the impeachment debate begins to wind down, with @Jim_Jordan and @MarkMeadows each getting meaty 3-minute blocks to make decry impeachment. Jordan currently ticking off Trump accomplishments.

Chairman Schiff misled about collusion evidence, misled about whistleblower contacts, fabricated a @realDonaldTrump comment in a hearing, and we now know from the IG report that his FISA memo was bunk. I’ll take a hard pass on this letter.

Still haven’t heard one good explanation from House Democrats trying to impeach @realDonaldTrump: in FIVE U.S.-Ukraine interactions between July and September 2019, how did this supposed political “quid pro quo” fantasy not come up even ONE time? The reason is: it didn’t happen
