I believe the best music comes from those who aren’t afraid to experiment and take risks. try something new. write from a new instrument. Try using less in your productions. some of the best music I have been apart of has come from openness to taking a new path.

Misconception in Production: You need expensive gear to get a professional sound. expensive gear will help you get a professional sound quicker and more consistently.

Artists, you might think that the studio is where the magic happens, but it is in the planning in preparation before, in a thorough preproduction, where we can dream up all a song can be.

More instruments sometimes just means more things to distract you from hearing the song.

good production for a song is like styling a good fit for the occasion.

The first song I ever produced was nothing like what I make today—it’s all about growth. I put so much painstaking effort and attention into those first productions while I was still learning so much of the basics. but looking back, I am proud that my skill and taste evolved.

I know what it’s like to pour everything into a song and still feel it’s not enough. But done is better than perfect, and released is better than sitting on your hard drive where no one can enjoy it.

It is not lost on me that every track I work on is a representation of an artist’s heart, soul, taste, and experience.

I'll go first, during the pandemic the band I was in did a hybrid podcast/video game stream where we brought on fans an played Fortnite with them while talking about music.
