Ela foi publicada originalmente em um mangá de ensaio incluído no mook "Dragon Ball Z Anime Special", lançado em 1989. Naquela época, como a série ainda estava em publicação regular, a ilustração foi acompanhada por comentários como: "Quando será que Dragon Ball vai acabar?" e "Será que o Goku vai acabar virando um vovô assim?". 37 anos se passaram desde então... e agora, em 2026, Dragon Ball ainda não acabou! Mestre Toriyama! Quem sabe o dia em que veremos o Goku com essa aparência ainda não esteja por vir!
