Two complex women reduced to a catfight over Matt Murdock. Karen and Heather are both fantastic characters with depth but the second they share the screen, the writing makes their entire interaction revolve around a man. The "you don’t really know him like I do” dialogue is lazy, dated, and genuinely disappointing. These women deserve conversations that matter to them, not just another scene that exists to remind us how complicated Matt is. The whole exchange becomes about him instead of letting these two women actually talk to or about each other and how they have handled their trauma in different ways. Instead it plays out like a bad episode of the Real Housewives of Hell's Kitchen.
