"Did you know that British battleship armor was 20 to 25% superior than all others? That means the King George V class had an armor belt that was essentially 447mm (17.5") or better." Me:

@GunloverClub1 What does that launcher fire? According to Google it’s just flares but it looks like a more modern M203 🤔

@LBC @jcartlidgemp Would he be willing to sacrifice 2% of the UK population to fight Putin as per the First World War? Or 10% of men aged 18-45. In today’s numbers that would be around 1.4million men killed. These cunts are always so quick to throw away the lives of young men for foreign wars.

‘Churchill did it to Hitler, Thatcher did it to Galtieri, we’ve done it to Putin.’ Part of conservatism is ‘standing up to dictators’, according to @jcartlidgemp, which is why Farage is ‘unfit to be PM’.

@elonmusk I have details of a senior police officer who deliberately covered up evidence of the rape and sexual assault of young girls by mainly Pakistani origin taxi drivers, with evidence of that. I think a private criminal prosecution is possible and likely to succeed.

I would like to help fund legal actions against corrupt officials who aided and abetted the rape of Britain, per the official government inquiry. Please reply below for consideration.
Rupert Lowe MP@RupertLowe10

Our Rape Gang Inquiry has today released research detailing eighty-five local authorities in which the gang-based sexual exploitation of children is taking place, or has historically done so. This is one of the most comprehensive exposes of the rape gang scandal to date.

@DrChrisParry My great-grandfather was captured at Singapore in 1942, I’m glad the bombs were dropped as it meant he was freed from captivity much early than he would have otherwise been freed, if at all.

That bomb saved millions of lives, many of whom would have been murdered, starved and tortured to death by the Japanese. Pity you’re not so solicitous about all those victims of your terrorist friends.
Jeremy Corbyn@jeremycorbyn

80 years ago, the US dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima. We remember the thousands who were killed in a crime against humanity, as well as the survivors who carried the pain of the past. Today, let us honour them by vowing to rid our world of nuclear weapons once and for all.

@AcademicAgent_X Stalin at the start of the war was incredibly rigid when it came to giving generals any kind of freedom to act on instinct, and often executed or dismissed those who use their initiative. As the war progressed he gave them more freedom to act. Hitler did precisely the opposite.

We are always told Stalin would accept no dissent, and was not open to discussion, but guys like Zhukov contradict this and say he always listened to opinions. Molotov says the same. I’ve read some of Stalin’s letters replying to various comrades, why did he bother writing them?

Robert Conquest's claim that Stalin killed 20 million people does not stand scrutiny. First, it does not pass sniff test that he achieved record growth despite population loss: 1926: 147 million 1937: 162 million 1939: 170 million This is explained away by "high birth rates"🧵/

@AndreasKoureas_ Definitely a contender! American crew losses in Sherman’s amounted to only around 1500 KIA in all theatres. Impressive numbers seeing as many 10’s of 1000’s were fielded.

England had a “double golden age” in Civ terms (Elizabethan then Victorian). Who else had this? What are contenders?

@HistoryBro1 The United States bears much responsibility for the destruction of the British Empire. Although we rely on them so much nowadays, part of me wouldn’t be sorry to see them toppled from the top spot as we once were.

@jessgill03 @Elizabeth_eno2 I often skip videos if he’s on, he’s totally insufferable. The way he was rude to Stelios (spelling?) a few weeks ago was bang out of order too, never saw any kind of apology for that.

Our energy bills are already the highest in Europe and will soar again in April - to an average of £1,849. Meanwhile, energy giants made £457,000,000,000 in profits since 2021. This is daylight robbery.

@Tory_Brexit69 @RapidResponse47 This is actually unbelievable. ‘When the UK was longer at war’. It was at war, for 6 more weeks. There was absolutely no guarantee that the would be over in 1945.

@RodneyDoctrine @RapidResponse47 The Tories and Labour had a pact while the UK was at war, no elections. When the UK was no longer at war, elections would be called. Do you get it yet?

In America, we hold a presidential election every four years -- even during wartime. We held an election during the Civil War. We held an election during World War II. Before President Zelenskyy decides to lecture the American President again, he should hold an election too.
