Cristiano Ronaldo almost singlehandedly took Portugal to the Euro 2016 final. Wales in the semi, Poland in the quarter...big teams.
However, if he had stayed on the pitch in that final, France would have won it. It was Portugal's luck that Cristiano had to be taken out. Otherwise it'd have been a different game.
