Fantastic performance from our junior athletes taking three 🥇 and one 🥈at the Irish U19 open Badminton Europe circuit event. The players have worked really hard throughout the summer and have received fantastic support from @sportireland and the Sport Ireland Institute team💪☘️

On my visit Donegal it was great to meet with Irish Olympian @chloenmagee this morning alongside my @fiannafailparty colleague @niall_blaney in @Royalandprior. Chloe is doing amazing work growing badminton in the area and getting more people participating in sport 🏸

**World Championship update** Joshua Magee and Paul Reynolds 🇮🇪 are through to the last 32 of the World Championships in Japan 🇯🇵 The Irish number ones beat Fabricio Farias and Francielton Farias 🇧🇷 21-18 21-19 in what was a very even match. The Irish will now face the 11 seeds.
