Today I had the pleasure of attending FKF Women Premier League matches between Ulinzi Starlets Vs Vihiga Queens, and Kenya Police Bullets Vs Kibera Soccer at Nyayo National Stadium. Very entertaining games. We shall continue investing and developing women football across the country and at all levels. In a weeks time we will be hosting the inaugural FIFA Series Women, a big milestone for women football and an opportunity for our ladies to compete with some of the best women teams globally. Let's all turn up in large numbers and show our support for women's football.

WPL hasn’t had a sponsor for a decade or so. WPL matches barely raise any funds through gate collections. Very few can raise 50k Again very few WPL teams have sponsors and this is where the biggest problem is. Again! FKF or Gvnt can’t book playing grounds for teams, this is a responsibility of the team. I’ve come to realize that many of us do not yet understand the roles of the clubs and FKF on matters leagues and competitions, we will blame clubs for things that FKF should be doing and FKF for things that clubs should be doing. Sad by a lot!

Does the KWPL have a sponsor? How much do they make from gate collections? Do they have individual kit sponsors? It's not a favour, it should be something they're supposed to be doing for every matchweek Individual clubs can't grow the game FKF and the government should

For the FKF or Gvnt or whoever to have these two matches here, assuming the venue may not be paid by the teams is a FAVOR! It is the responsibility of the teams to acquire playing pitches, if the clubs can’t afford these pitches you’re damn right, we will be back to Mawego my guy!
