@traversymedia Just started exploring game dev in the morning - right before workout and all day study via @TheOdinProject. Just doing Unity tutorials for now. Figure it'll elevate my understanding of web dev and may lead to making a banger, who knows. Still need to play No Man's Sky!

What is the first thing you do in the morning? Do you get right into work? I have a guilty pleasure of playing video games that relax me (like Minecraft or No Mans Sky). I know it isn't very productive, but it helps me get into a relaxed state for the day.

@Hesamation Grass is always greener. I've done a lot of manual labor jobs and building stuff on a computer is much easier on the body. Plus, tech industry generally has a much better work/life balance and pathway to wealth than the majority of these jobs.

Taking notes this morning to blueprint my final React project. After this, I'll tackle databases and, finally, NodeJS. My 1.5 year journey in learning to code through @TheOdinProject is not quite over but I'm beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Having WAY too much fun with this Jim Carrey memory card game I've been working on.

New React project starts today - a "Memory Card" application to implement useEffect when fetching from an API.

Re-mapped 'Cmd' and 'Fn/Globe' on Mac OS to emulate the Windows "Ctrl" placement. Also grabbed a clipboard called Maccy. Much better - only wish I had done both three years ago lol
