Canadian Coast to Coast with Tesla FSD is done! @DavidMoss, @DevinOlsenn, and I are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the world’s first Canada coast to coast fully autonomous drive! We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom (3,760 miles/ 6,051 km) This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.

@OverlyTrev @gasper_tomc Yeah they are testing all of the time now. Easy to tell based on how many non-tesla’s are in this lot which are likely employees parking there and taking the Cybercabs around.

@scotsrule08 @gasper_tomc They’re ramping up testing quite a bit. I personally think they set these up where they can just take out the fabricated driving controls on site and make them Robotaxi ready. Hopefully we see some driverless versions in the next month or so.

55 Cybercabs in Dallas, Texas. These things are really stacking up now. 102 Cybercabs were spotted at the outbound lot at Giga Texas yesterday, so a lot more are continuing to be shipped around the U.S. The testing continues!

Weekend project: reverse engineered the RAM 2500 CAN bus. Captured live CAN traffic, found the message IDs that moved in the 2024 layout, patched the DBC/fingerprint path, and got openpilot working. Supervised L2, not full self driving, but still pretty damn cool!

15 days until Tesla sends FSD 14 lite to over 3 million HW3 vehicles. This is their promise. We would really like the Unsupervised Full Self-Driving we paid $15,000 for years ago. Being scammed by a trillionaire doesn’t sit well.

@jonathaneckmier They are driving a bunch of them around Dallas all of the time. They certainly aren’t all sitting in a lot collecting dust.

@scotsrule08 It does seem like a lot of production happening just to have them sit on lots not moving around. I’m curious if they’ll have to do as much validation testing with them in each new city as they’re currently doing in Austin. They’ll need a lot of manpower for that if so.

Once we see them start to remove the controls I’d bet they’re close, but until then it’s probably just staging. I do wonder if they’re shipping them all with controls because it’s probably waaaay easier to move them around this way than it would be to tell them what to do autonomously.
