The "10x Dev Predictions" for 2026, by a non-10x person (not starting a dev predictions market, yet). Prediction #1: We stop pretending "multichain" is a flex. Its soon default (single-chain apps are dead). If your app still requires the user to know what a "bridge" is, you’re not building for the future. You’re building a museum. 🏛️💀

Most 10x gains in 2026 won’t come from adding new chains. They’ll come from removing the friction we somehow normalized. Apps will matter more than chains. Outcomes more than infra. UX more than ideology. Build like users have better things to do. Because they do.

Prediction #5: Fast deposits aren't a luxury!! Multi-day withdrawal windows and 20-minute wait times for deposits are slow-mo UX killers. In 2026, if funds don't move in <10 seconds across the "universe," users are ghosting. Speed is the new calculus.
