Today we offer a heartfelt thank you to First Team Manager, Steve OโHara, who has stepped down from his role after more than four fantastic years with the Club. During Steveโs time in charge, he led the team to outstanding success โ two Cheshire County Cup victories and two Super Cup wins โ achievements that reflect his dedication, leadership, and belief in the squad. Steve has taken the difficult decision to step aside, recognising that itโs the right time for him to move on. His honesty and integrity in this decision shows exactly why he has been such a respected figure at the Club. From everyone at the Club - Thank you, Steve. Your contribution has been immense, you will be greatly missed and you will always be part of Stockport County Ladies FCโs History. ๐

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of 15-year-old Academy player, Amelia Aplin. Amelia collapsed during a Girlsโ Academy game against Fulham at the Clubโs Training Centre in Horspath yesterday afternoon. The thoughts and sincere condolences from everyone at Oxford United are with Ameliaโs family, friends, teammates and coaches. We would like to place on record our appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff at both Oxford United and Fulham Football Club, along with the emergency services. The Club will offer support to Ameliaโs family, players, coaches and staff impacted by this tragic event. We would ask that the familyโs privacy is respected at this incredibly difficult time.
