@bnwkr @RealShiina Can confirm. Since I've moved on both my physical and mental health have improved by a ton. You don't see how trapped you are in staying on top of everything in Fortnite until you watch it from a distance. I've basically planned my life around Fortnite, item shop resets...

All UEFN (Unreal Editor for Fortnite) creators look out! I'm working on a feature in ETFN 2.0 (Upcoming website) that allows you to download cosmetic models as an FBX with its textures and materials. This will allow creators to add their own skins or cosmetics to their maps. Coming after that will be a Fortnite Prop Library containing meshes for specific props and items and not just Cosmetics. That system will eventually take over hopefully within April/May. I'll provide updates soon!

@ThisIsITalk People need to relax tbh, it's been a few days since release and this stuff is complicated af. 100% they're working on that and know thats an issue. We're in very early stages.

The fact that Creative hasn't made the option to go over 100k memory is ridiculous. Make it so if an island goes over 100k memory, then mobile and Switch users CAN'T access it. It's incredibly lame that we haven't been able to get past this threshold.

@JCriCreate "We have a huge gun problem". You have, in the US. Kids play shooters and Fortnite around the world and it's no issue. I understand your point when looking at guns though, happens to me too, mainly if they're real though.

Appreciate the responses, but this is less about our perception of the games’ tone. This is about how guns are a part of daily life, where gunplay is lighthearted and marketed to kids. We have a HUGE gun problem and it’s hard for me to look at a gun without resentment and anger.

Something that’s always kinda bothered me about Fortnite is how it’s marketed as a vibrant world with a youthful spirit and energetic aesthetic but you also just have a fucking gun and kill people. It’s like “This is a more friendly, fun, and hip version of murder - for teens!”

@Kuriza815 @RealShiina Every genre has various projects start and fail regularly, sure the popularity isnt that high anymore after the initial hype but thats normal. Rumbleverse just wasn't that good or interesting (imo)

This is the latest example to show that the Battle Royale genre is completely oversaturated. I'm willing to bet that within the next 5-8 years, there will not be a single new Battle Royale game which will stay popular for more than a few months.

@PlayerIGN I'll never understand why they went so all in with the tournament spending almost $1m on just tournament prizes only to not advertise it nor Livestream it. It partially went downhill because nobody knows about it.

The team reportedly don't know why the game went downhill. Super People's BETA was criticized for its appalling monetization model; and in 2022, we saw PUBG become a Free-to-Play competitor. Not releasing Early Access way back in 2021 was a mistake IMO.

Wonder People, the studio behind Super People - Battle Royale is set to go bankrupt after Feb. 2023. The game was in development for 5 yrs. The CEO, Hu-min has 4,000 hrs in PUBG and spent ~$800k on the project. Same person behind the creation of the Dungeon Fighter franchise.
