are you climbing a mountain for the world to see you or for you to see the world?

Did you know that according to the theory of Quantum Immortality, it is physically impossible for you to experience your own death? Because your consciousness can only exist in a living state, the moment you face a fatal event, your mind simply locks onto a parallel universe where you survived. The times you "narrowly escaped" a car crash or a severe illness? You might have actually died in the original timeline, and this is just the alternate universe where you got lucky.

not every city can be destroyed by nukes

There are 49million Kangaroos in Australia and 575,000 people in Malta which means if the Kangaroos were to invade Malta, each person will have to fight 85 Kangaroos.

C + systems thinking = OS dev
C + networking = you build servers from scratch
C + memory management = you finally understand every language
C++ + game loops = game engine dev
Go + concurrency = backend that actually scales
Rust + ownership model = no more segfaults, ever
JS + DOM = frontend engineer
JS + Node = full-stack in a weekend
honestly, one language isn't the ceiling. the stack you combine is.

@macathefirst what do you say will the best approach for handling and storing undo and redo operations. A stack approach is nice but i'll like you to enlighten me more.
English

🧵
A stack is used for temporary short lived data, i understand it as sort of a reminder(but e deep pass a reminder sha) for the program to know the function that is currently active and the data being passed around for that function thereby making the steps predictable because it controls the execution flow, without it your program wouldn't know which function is currently running or the next function to run after one has finished executing and what variables belong to which function, every function call that happens appears as a block(stackframe) on the stack(how i imagine it sha) and once the function is done, the block is evicted from the stack.

Many years ago the government provided portable drinking water.
Then the supply became unreliable.
People complained… nothing changed.
Eventually we all got used to it and started digging our own boreholes.
Then electricity became the problem.
First we bought generators.
Now solar panels are popping up on rooftops everywhere.
Security?
People now pay for private guards, vigilantes, gated estates, CCTV and alarms.
Slowly, quietly, Nigerians have become the providers of the very basics a government is supposed to guarantee:
Water.
Power.
Security.
At this point I have a genuine question.
If citizens are drilling their own water, generating their own electricity, and paying for their own security…
What exactly are we paying taxes for?

My brother, I just dey house this morning jelely..
My Oyibo neighbour just ring door bell, She say make I come down she wann see me.

That all along I've been helping her pick up her parcels ( I'm always home) and keeping it safe without even complaining.
That it's such a rare attitude to find around..
And she's been thinking of how and what to appreciate me with - she then asked her colleagues at work and they said since he's a black guy, He'd definitely appreciate a drink (alcohol) and a diffuser ( black guys like scents alot)
I was just speechless.. 😀
