…when I got home, googled him, and realized he was a former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (!) I was blown away by how unassuming and humble he was. It’s a mild and insignificant story, but one that I’ll remember and appreciate. We’re lucky to have had him serve at KSU.
