I might have got carried away when making the Dragon's Fire Victory Road theme and accidently turned it into the Champion Battle theme instead.
Not 100% done, I need to fix some counter melody, harmony, and some other bits but uh...

The one track I didn’t like was Mount Gulug. I know this is one of the more popular tracks in this game, but all I could hear was that one dreary song I can’t remember the name of from early late 2000’s/early 2010’s(?) that makes me wanna yank my eardrums out every time I hear it

If I had to pick my favourite track from FFIX (with the exception of Hilda Garde, that’s cheating), it’s Qu’s Marsh.
Big timpani and choir activates something in my caveman brain. It’s such a silly track!

@seshpai Yeah I noticed it with them too! Idk if it was time constraints or something, during development, but if it wasn’t, it seems like a very strange directional choice to make.

@Soundsofsuicune Another one that always gets me is the Fire Guardian. Like, you have the epic orchestral piece already playing as the party storms the shrines, never used anywhere else in the game, and it just cuts out when the battle starts in favor of the boss theme... I'm just like... why....

9/10, very enjoyable, good story. I enjoyed it way way more than VI, probably on par with VII for me.
My only two gripes with this one is that there didn’t seem to be much variation in battle music, and I felt that maaaaybe a little bit of fat

110% agreed with you on the battle music tho. Strolling up to Garland at Pandemonium and then have him start up the basic boss theme is such a party pooper moment ahaha

Played for a couple more of hours after work.
It’s ok. But I’m gonna be honest, when Pokémon Showdown is right there, idk why you’d invest too much time into it in the current state the game is it. It seems very limited at the moment.

@TriteHexagon Usually morning is 0:00am - 11:59am, afternoon is 12-5pm, evening is 5pm-9pm, and night is 9pm till 11:59pm.

Do any other cultures struggle with defining when morning ends and afternoon starts, or is that just a Portuguese thing? Do people just go by the am/pm divide?
And do English-speakers know when the afternoon ends and evening begins? I never know which is which.
