On October 16, 2024, a rocket attack in Bilozirka injured social worker Galyna from "Caritas-Spes-Odessa," who is stable after surgery in Kherson but needs rehabilitation. The roof of her apartment was damaged, but her colleague Olena was unharmed. We wish Galyna a swift recovery

Russian forces attacked Konotop with Shahed drones. Yulia from Caritas-Spes Ukraine and her children were shaken but unharmed. Caritas-Spes Ukraine thanks our colleagues who continue their vital work despite the dangers of war.

September 06, 2024 A missile strike on Pavlohrad injured Iryna, a Caritas-SPES social worker. She has a broken rib but is not in life-threatening condition. The Caritas-SPES team shares her pain and is grateful to colleagues who continue to serve despite the war.

Today, the situation on the Ukrainian border is stable. Custom service have formed an electronic queue, so drivers can track it and not wait at the border. The Caritas-Spes Lviv Archdiocese has organized hot lunches for the drivers waiting to cross the border. #caritasspesua
