STORY TIME!
Standing ominously is this historic building in New York and it is as beautiful as it is unsettling. Built in 1884, its gothic architecture has long been tied to whispers of the paranormal. Over the decades, residents and visitors have reported ghostly figures drifting through its shadowed hallways, including the spirit of a young girl said to roam the corridors at night. The building’s eerie reputation deepened after the tragic murder of John Lennon just outside its entrance in 1980, an event that many believe left a lingering energy behind. Some claim Lennon himself has been seen near the archway, watching silently. Whether legend or truth, The Dakota remains one of New York’s most haunted and mysterious landmarks… would you dare step inside?

Back in 2023, I was introduced to Kings Park Psychiatric Center by CAP Craig Mitton, Author founder of Our Paranormal World, while I was at The Amityville Horror House. Since then I have gone to Kings Park well over 20 times and each time that place never fails to disappoint. I truly believe the every paranormal group or person has that one place where you call a home away from home. I have guided fellow paranormal investigators, content creators and curious by standers through the halls of Kings Park. During this time I have done extensive research and found so much information including old photos of this amazing location and I want to share those with all of you.

Today, its crumbling buildings and silent hallways are said to echo with the past drawing urban explorers and paranormal seekers who claim the spirits of former patients still linger. Would you dare to walk its abandoned grounds after dark?

Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, Georgia, began as part of a large plantation along the Wilmington River before being transformed into a burial ground in 1846, originally called Evergreen Cemetery. It was created to relieve overcrowded city cemeteries and designed in the Victorian style, with winding paths, towering live oaks, and open green spaces.

Hidden among the quiet graves of Cassadaga Cemetery, the infamous Devil’s Chair is a simple brick bench that has fueled chilling legends for decades. Locals say that if you sit on the chair at midnight and leave a beer as an offering, the Devil himself may appear to drink it or the bottle will mysteriously be empty by morning. Visitors have reported hearing whispers in the darkness, feeling sudden cold spots, and sensing an unseen presence watching from the trees. Whether it’s restless spirits from the nearby Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp or something far more sinister, many who dare to visit the Devil’s Chair swear that once you sit down… you’re never truly alone.
