And regular back four, with one WB if you like.

@EAFCDanny Yeah, I think that’s part of it too.
It’s obviously a spoilt-child thing to holler ‘It’s SO UNFAIR!’ but… in so many ways, the game *does* feel unfair.
Often, even when I win games now it has still felt like a grind: fighting the game’s desire to give away the ball constantly

@StuartDFUT My problem is that you get ‘punished’ for actually trying to defend. It could just be a skill issue but you basically get punished whenever you try and actually control your defenders to make a tackle and get rewarded for just controlling your CMs and letting AI do the work…

The biggest problem for me with EA FC 26 is:
The game meta = mistakes get punished. Lose the ball, opponents break, score.
AND the game engine seems to spend most of its time making mistakes for you, leaving you scrambling to cope.
So many goals feel *not my fault* atm

So many goals seem to start with a random piece of fuckwittery by the game engine not me, and there's nothing more guaranteed to leave you angry.
I think that's why so many people feel cross right now with the game. It's the way it leaves them feeling after playing online.

And yeah, 'skill issue' etc etc.
But I played a few Gauntlet and RTTF cup matches today, and spent so much time under pressure or conceding after:
1. Passes went in wrong direction
2. Player switching borked during a break
3. Defenders *stopped dead* when tracking back

@sub2waldy Is this because you're only allowed one set-piece after added time is up? It looks like he'd just taken a corner.
That happened to me recently and I was fuming!

@ccruzyy People trying to get their seventh win in their 12th match, to get both objectives at once and unlock both cups.

I’ve won 6 and lost 3 in the RTTF League.
But three other opponents quit straight after kick-off, doing the ‘unlock both cups’ glitch.
I don’t get the wins for those quits, but they DO count as ‘games played’. So now I’ve ‘played’ 12 so can’t unlock the better cup.

One thing EA are smart about is the nostalgia of older millennials + Gen-X.

@JasonTSco I will include it in my proposal to FIFA about a 'The Purge' exception for players taking the ball into the corner in the last five minutes of matches – all fouls, weapons etc allowed to the opposing team :)

The generational meltdown from Arsenal fans about yesterday has been a good watch this morning honestly, but you guys are pretty much bang on for the league you won’t throw that away and still in two comps, youl be fine 😅
