Congrats to the Grant Pacers! Back-to-back CIF Northern California Regional Football Champs ... but this time in Division 2-AA. Impressive win over Rocklin 41-14.

Yesterday (Oct. 12), students at Hazel Strauch had two very special visitors - Swun Math founder Si Swun and Superintendent Dr. Steve Martinez. TR adopted Swun Math as our core K-8 math curriculum which has measurable, positive affects for our students learning mathematics.

Highlight from this week! Lots of eager hands ready to share when the @SwunMath “Error Detector” shows up! 🦸‍♂️ Error analysis gives students a great opportunity to explain their reasoning when performing math tasks.

Got to watch our stellar Math Coach Dimitri demo Reaching Consensus to a third grade classroom. Providing a rubric and sentence frames allowed the students to successfully engage in collaborative math dialogue! Way to go Dimitri!

Mission accomplished! What a battle Saturday night in the Heights, along with cheers and lots of tears of joy. Congratulations to the "G" - the 2022 CIF Division 3-AA State Football Champions! The Pacers did it ... 36-34 over the San Jacinto Tigers.
