Iran keeps telling people to turn off their lights - while the regime burns electricity to mine Bitcoin. Pezeshkian just told Iranians to switch off 8 out of 10 lights at home, yet the Islamic Republic is using subsidized power for LARGE-SCALE CRYPTO MINING tied to the IRGC and regime insiders. That contrast explains the system. After 2018 sanctions, the regime legalized Bitcoin mining and turned ULTRA-CHEAP ELECTRICITY into a workaround: ⚪️ Mine Bitcoin ⚪️ Sell it to the Central Bank ⚪️ Convert it into hard currency ⚪️ Bypass SWIFT Iran became a major mining hub, consuming up to 2 GW OF POWER at peak, much of it tied to IRGC-linked networks. Chinese firms also moved in, often paying even less than Iranian miners. A 175 MW project in Rafsanjan, tied to military-linked entities, received preferential access in free zones, effectively selling subsidized energy to foreign operators while locals faced shortages. The cost shows up fast. Rolling blackouts now hit regularly: ⚪️ 3–4 HOURS DAILY ⚪️ Hospitals on generators ⚪️ Factories shut down ⚪️ Families without cooling or refrigeration Officials blame citizens and “illegal miners,” but many large operations run with permits, dedicated lines, or direct protection while the grid absorbs the strain. This is the tradeoff. Mining one Bitcoin can use as much electricity as THOUSANDS OF HOUSEHOLDS, yet priority goes to digital assets over basic needs. Crypto gave the regime a sanctions workaround through Bitcoin, USDT on Tron, and other networks, enabling fast, borderless transfers that were harder to freeze. By 2026, HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS moved through these channels, funding imports, proxies, and elite accounts. But that advantage is shrinking. In April 2026, the U.S. Treasury, working with Tether, froze $344 MILLION IN USDT tied to IRGC and Central Bank activity, showing these flows are no longer untouchable. The contradiction is clear. A system that attacks the West relies on WESTERN TECHNOLOGY, restricts ordinary Iranians from using it freely, and protects connected operations draining the national grid. This is not just policy. It is resource allocation to fatten the pockets of regime insiders. Cheap energy is being redirected away from homes and industry into a system that benefits a small group while the public carries the cost. Iran’s message is to use less electricity. The reality is that more is being used than ever, just not for them.

The Shah of Iran, @PahlaviReza, recently asked global press members: Why did they refuse to ask him about the 40,000 innocent lives taken by the Islamic Republic? ⚠️This video is the evidence. This girl’s scream for her mother, “Where are you taking my mom?!”, as regime forces shoot people in the streets, is the reality of that 40,000 figure. If your news outlet didn't report this, they are part of the cover-up for a terrorist regime. Tell their story!

This week was tough. I had dinner with my intelligent friends from European countries, people who have spent half their lives working within the United Nations. We were having a good time until the conversation turned to Donald Trump and Iran. Everyone, without exception, spoke badly of Trump: that he causes problems for everyone, that war is terrible, that it is illegal, and so on. I stayed silent. When everyone finally became quiet, I asked only one question: who is actually going to collect and remove those more than 400 kilograms of uranium? My French friend said: Trump is no better than the regime. On top of that, he has started an illegal war, and many countries have nuclear power plants why shouldn’t Iran have them too? I exploded inside, but I remained silent at first. When I finally broke my silence, I said: was it illegal when the United States helped the French during the Second World War? Was it unnecessary? Then silence returned. I kept thinking about how to express everything happening inside me; how to explain the regime to a European-someone surrounded by left-wing ideology, enclosed within indirect forms of censorship, and always ready to say that war is terrible, yet surprised when I say many Iranians wanted it. How do you explain to people who live in safety that some nations sometimes see outside pressure as the only remaining path when every internal path has been closed? How do you explain that they do not even speak in geopolitical terms, but judge only from a position of moral comfort, while others are speaking about survival? Europeans who, despite democracy and free internet, still do not know what happened in Iran on January 8–9. Europeans who believe every conflict can be understood through the same moral template. Europeans who condemn all violence in theory, but have never had to live under a Islamic system where violence is part of everyday life. And I sat there with the feeling that the distance between our realities was greater than the table around which we were sitting…

My 2 cents on the fastest way to defeat the Iranian regime on our terms Resume overwhelming military action (especially targeting the IRGC and key dual-use infrastructure), along with continued maximum economic pressure AND arm the Iranian people (Reagan Doctrine).  I believe this will bring the war to its fastest conclusion, one way or another (that is, either militarily or by negotiation) and to our country's and the world's benefit.  It will either result in a military victory or a negotiated victory on our terms.  We must NOT fear a conclusive victory.  And, if the regime is eliminated or removed, replaced with a friendly government, we can encourage investment and commerce with Iran that will help rebuild it.  History is my guide.

President @realDonaldTrump, If you WON the war, then you don't ask the LOSING side to negotiate. You dictate the SURRENDER terms and demand that they sign it. You can't at the same time declare that you WON and say that you want to "negotiate a fair deal".

They spent years telling us the death of Lake Rezaieh was an irreversible natural disaster. It is truly fascinating how an "irreversible disaster" cures itself the exact second the IRGC's underground military machine gets bombed into ash. Just yesterday, the water volume crossed three billion cubic meters. This is the exact same lake the officials of this death cult shrugged their shoulders at and declared completely dead. It was never a tragedy. It was an occupation. The land of Iran was not dying; it was simply suffocating under their grip. The absolute second the airstrikes forced their hidden missile silos to shut down, the second their toxic military machine stopped choking our atmosphere, the sky cleared. The rain returned. And one of the greatest geographical beauties of our country instantly came back to life. There was no natural drought. The earth itself is just rejecting them. The terrorist Islamic Regime isn't merely butchering our people; they are a literal poison in the soil of Iran. Eradicate the tumor, and iran will heal itself.

Q1 2026: $300B in global VC. All-time record. Sounds amazing. Until you realize 4 companies took 65% of all of it — and the deal count fell. The flood of capital is real. For most founders, the access to it is not.
