I’m not a gun owner, but I respect the right of law-abiding Canadians to own firearms. What happened to Nathalie Provost was horrific, there's no question. But decades later, targeting legal owners instead of criminals and illegal guns isn’t the answer. Bans and buybacks miss the real problem. Personal trauma is real, but it shouldn’t drive policy that punishes people who’ve done nothing wrong.

The wildest part of yesterday’s unhinged press conference, was Provost yelling at the media, demanding they stop platforming the “gun lobby”. She wants you to stop hearing from stakeholders, the ONLY people impacted by this gun grab. Good, honest people who’ve done nothing to deserve this. This grab doesn’t affect criminals, or repeat violent offenders - they get a free pass. 🇨🇦🆘

The Liberals claim these are assault style firearms.
