@Denis_SunnyGo They definitely have people who look at trends and do analytics for all this stuff. They must feel really confident because this wasn’t a small 50 bucks like before. A lot of people will come out here and say it has to do with ram/ssd shortages but I’m not 100 sure.

@TechDoneRight1 When you have corpo making rules and market dominance, they are a very few things they will not do. Nintendo is playing dirty and ppl still buy by n far Sony will do the same and ppl will still buy.

Not that I’m advocating for companies to squeeze everyone or just be flat out greedy but Sony hasn’t forgotten the time when everyone was out here paying 1000-1500 for a PS5. With this generation ending within the next 18 to 24 months, and them knowing they’re about to have their biggest injection of sales since launch thanks to GTA 6, and without any competition in sight, this is them just taking a shot to make every dollar they can. They could also be using this to gauge exactly what they want to price the PS6 at as well. Too much upside here hence them getting incredibly bold with a 150 dollar mark up.

@Denis_SunnyGo Well I hope that’s not true and they’re making their own online store like steam for PC ports but yea probably not. If they did and required a PSN account for access, I’d be down for that but I doubt others would.

@TechDoneRight1 They also said PS5 exclusive will remain console exclusive so no PC release. They squeezing from all avenues, right after a recent PSN price hike there are rumors another is coming

They did a lot with 115m to be fair but is that a good thing or bad thing? What could’ve they done if they had more? They spent 200-300m on both Star Wars and Avatar each and I’m almost certain Div has made more money for Ubi than both those games combined. Sad.
