@TwatterLester Close, but I’d separate it from ordinary gamma. Novation Crush isn’t just MMs hedging call OI, it’s the unwind of a transferred/warehoused obligation. The 90k $30C OI may be the visible hedge/pressure point where that obligation expresses into listed options.

@TheGameStopsNow Are you seeing any evidence that suggests we could be seeing the start of this theory play out over the next two weeks? Options activity seems more or less nominal, and volume is pretty moderate so far.

@Louise77gme I really think the entire market can be reframed using energy instead of money. It might even help regulators to understand how "the plumbing" is functioning (or malfunctioning) if they applied this concept to their work.

@TheGameStopsNow Great reads. I'm a big fan of the ~110 trading day interval and have used that forecasting quite a bit. I've written about multi cycles as well on Reddit but it's barely worth mentioning in comparison to this publication.
