Today marks the beginning of the 32nd commemoration of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda. Kwibuka is a time to gather to remember, unite, and renew. Join us in taking time today to remember those we lost, honor survivors, and give hope for a peaceful future.

Our students and staff recently gathered together for our monthly Leadership Development Workshop! January's theme was Realizing Your Dreams Through Strategic Planning and encouraged our students to connect as a community of scholars. Here are a few moments of our day together!

Larissa Jasmine joined our program this year and now studies Midwifery. Larissa Jasmine is excited to use her degree to reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rates, emphasizing the importance of prenatal and postpartum care. She also hopes to be an advocate for women's rights!

We are thrilled to welcome Kelly to TNHF! Kelly is studying Public Administration and Local Governance. Kelly shared that he dreams of using his degree to become a “bridge between local government and the communities they serve.” We can't wait to see what you do next, Kelly!

Meet Julius! Julius is studying Accounting and Finance at the University of Rwanda. Julius is passionate about helping others and empowering youth. He hopes to teach financial literacy to youth, including skills such as budgeting, saving, and financial planning. Welcome, Julius!

Meet Laissa! Laissa studies Agricultural Land and Irrigation Engineering at the University of Rwanda. She hopes to use her degree to promote sustainable water management and improve farm productivity in Rwanda! Welcome, Laissa! We can't wait to see what you do next.

Meet Joseph! Joseph is studying Accounting at Adventist University of Central Africa. As a TNHF scholar, he looks forward to using his leadership skills to become a leader or CEO, working towards increasing Rwanda’s GDP. Welcome, Joseph!

Meet Gerald! Gerald now studies Statistics Applied to Economy at the Institut d’Enseignement Supérieur de Ruhengeri. Gerald dreams of alleviating poverty, encourageing entrepreneurship, and promoting a data driven economy to encourage sustainable development. We to TNHF, Gerald!

Meet Josephine Joanna! She studies Law at Kigali Independent University. Josephine Joanna hopes to use her degree to positively impact people’s lives, advocate for vulnerable communities, and make a difference in her community! Welcome to These Numbers, Josephine Joanna!

Meet Ivan! Ivan attends the Adventist University of Central Africa and studies Network and Communication Systems. He will use his degree to help improve how people connect and share information. He also wants to create jobs to advance Rwanda’s tech growth! Welcome, Ivan!
