My wonderful Nana Shirin passed away at 11am with me and Mum by her bedside. She’s at peace now and isn’t suffering anymore. I’m sad that Lily didn’t get to say goodbye, but it might be for the best. Mum let me keep Nana’s jewellery but I will cherish the beautiful memories more.

My beautiful, beloved Nana, who was to turn 99 on the 25th, is at the stage of dementia where she’s forgotten how to swallow, so she hasn’t eaten or drunk anything since Friday. I went to the care home to be with her. I love her so much and am devastated. I won’t be on here much.
