To English readers, for the sake of context, opening a cafe called "Krajišnik" in a Croatian community is basically like opening a cafe called "Colonizer" on a Native American reserve, or one called "Black gang drug dealer" in a all white redneck megachurch community.

35 years ago, on 15.04.1991, the Serbian-owned “Krajišnik” café was blown up in Vukovar. It was the first in a series of attacks by Croats 🇭🇷 aimed at intimidating local Serbs 🇷🇸 By the start of the war, around a dozen more Serb businesses and dozens of houses were also mined.

Definition of "krajišnik" according to 🇭🇷 dictionary: "Name for a resident of the border area (krajina) and a member of the border guard units in the Croatian military frontier. An older synonym is krajinac. Both names do not distinguish the ethnicity of their bearers."

Na stranu to da je sramota što je bivši pripadnik Min. SP nije pročitao već.
