Dream scenario for Arkansas: G - Meleek Thomas G - Jordan Smith F - Billy Richmond F - (Best PF portal money can buy) C - Malique Ewin Andrews & Toure off the bench as well. Not sure what happens with Wagner & Knox who are great players & will be good at Arkansas or elsewhere.

On second thought looked like Acuff might have been nursing his triceps. Either way his right arm hurts.

Darius Acuff in quite a bit of pain holding his right shoulder and checks out of the game. Tried a shooting motion on the bench and was in pain when he did it.

Arkansas is doing two things poorly. Defend in the front court and shooting the three. If both those are just a little bit better this is a tie game. Hogs are 2-12 from 3. Feels like when Arizona needs a bucket the Cats find it inside.

Arkansas absorbed some pretty big blows there in the first half. 43 points against the Wildcats defense is tremendous. Hogs have found their way offensively in this game but defensively they just can’t seem to get anything on their terms.

Arkansas is getting good looks from 3. Just can’t get them to fall. This is too good an opponent to miss opportunities on and give yourself a chance to win. Razorbacks are 1-8 from behind the line to start.

Arkansas going with Ewin and Pringle in the game at the same time here. Arizona has been a big time problem down low.

This was a tremendous game. Incredible performance by Darius Acuff. And an incredible performance for Rob Martin who poured his heart out in this game.

I would attack Rob Martin on the other end. No matter what look they throw defensively. Force him to make a play while playing with 4 fouls.

I do think Arkansas is dog tired. But they are fighting like hell. The whole building is behind High Point and their guard nobody has ever heard of is going toe to toe with a future top 10 pick in Acuff. Tremendous theatre here in Portland!

High Point has a ton of respect for Arkansas’ guards. Borderline fear… When the guards hit the lane High Point sends help immediately and the Hogs are starting to hit on some lobs.

6-0 run for High Point makes it 30-29 Arkansas. Long stretch there without a stoppage. Seems like the Hogs had a little fatigue and kind of got away from their play style. Timeout should calm things down.

Assuming Nick Pringle is “break glass in case of emergency” Arkansas is doing a good job early of defending without fouling. 7 minutes in and no team fouls for the Razorbacks.

Hard to tell what the speed difference is until teams get on the floor together. Hawaii had a real hard time running with Arkansas. High Point seems to have no trouble getting up and down the floor with the Hogs in the early going.
