This was my exact experience as well. First watch was at LFF and then some stuff happened in my life and it became an all time favourite. I’ve never flipped an opinion so extremely on a film in such a short space of time.

Yeah I’m not doing the discourse, fuck this. Paul Thomas Anderson and Ryan Coogler are both very talented filmmakers, who released really creative, unique films, and I’m glad they both won awards because they’re both very deserving. I think we can leave it at that.
