Congratulations to our Member of the Month for April - Jemma Smith! Jemma is making such progress with her fitness journey which has had a huge positive impact on her health too! Keep up the hard work!!

Today is re-enrolment deadline day for swimming lessons!! Please be sure to call the centre today to make payment for your child’s swimming lessons for the summer term if you haven’t done so already to secure their space.

We will be following the Holiday Timetable from Monday 4th April -Thursday 14th April! There will then be a temporary Easter Timetable from Friday 15th April - Monday 18th April! We will revert back to the Term Timetable from Tuesday 19th April!!

Joe Green will be running “Open court night” on Wednesday evenings 6pm-7.30pm from March 2nd. You can play squash or racketball, be a beginner/ intermediate and enjoy match play or drills. For more details contact Joe on 07957 856866.

With only 7 days to go in our February gym challenge Wales are steaming ahead! We need the participants of all teams to log all distance travelled!! It’s not too late to get involved!!

Here at USSC we have a beautiful 6 lane 25m swimming pool and are proud to offer Swim Only Memberships which include aqua classes and swim fit as well as various member only swim sessions!

Date for the Diary! Join us on Saturday 9th April for our Easter 5km Fun Run, where we will be raising money for The Lions Club of Rutland! The run will leave the sports centre at 10am and there will be refreshments and an Easter Egg Hunt upon return!

Random Acts of Kindness Week As part of random acts of kindness week we are offering 5 day guest passes to anyone who would like to come and try out the centre! Please comment below to claim your pass or tag someone you think would like one!

Class of the Month - Suspension Training! Monday 10.15am-11am Tuesday 9.45am- 10.30am Wednesday 6pm-6.45pm This class uses body weight, movement and gravity for a challenging workout! If you haven’t given it a try now is the perfect opportunity, only £1 for non members!

We would like to give a huge congratulations to Harry, Esme and Louise for being nominated for Employee’s of the Month for January 2022! Each one of them has gone above and beyond in the delivery of inductions, programmes and classes throughout January!

Wales are currently leading the way with our 6 Nations Triathlon Challenge! Don’t forget you can join a team at any time and add your distance travelled to the total, prizes are up for grabs, so speak to one of our friendly team to get involved!!

Member of the Month January 2022 goes to Paul Danson!! Paul was nominated as since joining the centre he has pushed himself to try new classes, new workshops and to see what works for him and his routine. He will give anything a go! Congratulations Paul!!
