@mcDarke Hello, replied to your question on the google group. yes, this is possible, but wouldn't be possible to use for deliveries.

@UberDevelopers the /places endpoint (e.g. /places/home, /places/work) times out in the sandbox. Similarly, requesting an estimate in the sandbox with home or work as location rather than lat/long times out. Known issue? Better way to report?

@yuvaldotkoren Hi Yuval-- the sandbox may not always match all features of production and could have timeout issues. Please try on production as well and let us know if you are still seeing issues. Thanks.
