@ImBreckWorsham I’m highly skeptical it could ever work. Rich and poor are relative. The poorest people in the U.S. today are rich compared to other places in the world, other times historically. Not everyone can own the beachfront property. And we know the “elites” want us to own nothing.

Iran is a direct threat to the United States and the entire free world. Israel happens to be on the front lines of that threat — and yes, Israel is the only genuine democracy with Western values in the entire Middle East. Supporting Israel is clearly in America's strategic interest. Anyone paying attention can see that. You still haven't explained how the U.S.-Israel relationship doesn't benefit America... unless your real preference is for Islamist regimes to dominate the region (and eventually the world).
