Five years ago today, seven doctors and a pharmacist were abducted from a medical clinic in #Gololey village in Hirshabelle, #Somalia by the Somali National Army (SNA) and were summarily executed.

@oxygen_breeze 2. “Dismissing the facts in order to justify arming themselves against this injustice.” Here you oppose the right to self-defense of the civilian population against the genocidal Liyu police. “Borders that must be respected.” Here you oppose. The right of self-determination.

@oxygen_breeze 1. The post was about the violation of human rights and those that murdered civilians, denying it happened and blaming S.L. You also blame S.L. for the atrocities, absolving perpetrators of responsibility.

The Isaaq in that region should form a political lobby and work towards integrating themselves into the Federal Government.  This fantasy of being part of Somaliland should come to an end once and for all. Our politicians must begin focusing on their own issues instead of distracting the nation with matters that do not concern them.  They need to abandon this childish, ilameerayso politics, which causes more harm to their own people and the isaaq in that region than any actual benefit. Somaliland politicians created this limbo to distract the nation, but there is a clear distinction between tribal affiliations and the actual borders between two countries borders that must be respected. . All the tribes in that region should act responsibly and understand the political realities, instead of dismissing the facts in order to justify arming themselves against this injustice.
