Since 👹 is teaching English, I just want to share a bit of a difference between ESL (English as a Second Language) and EFL (English as a Foreign Language) - ESL refers to learning or teaching English in English speaking countries or where English is the main language or is one of the official languages used in everyday life. - EFL refers to learning English in non-English speaking countries or where English is not the official or dominant language normally used in everyday life. Both ESL and EFL have the same goal which is learning English as an additional language. The methods on which you learn English is just the main difference. For example, ESL is more immersive and a bit informal. ESL teachers tend to be more flexible with their teaching methods. On the other hand, EFL has limited exposure and less practice but more formal and structured for better learning.
