Kent FA appreciates that many people will have questions regarding how today’s announcement from the Government relates to football within the county. We’re currently awaiting confirmation of guidance from The FA and will communicate updates as soon as possible.

@vintersfc Hi @vintersfc. Booking systems can serve as the source of the information, but designated venues must have a QR code displayed at the entrance. Players can still scan the official NHS QR code if they wish, to help remind them where they have been if asked by NHS Test and Trace.

It’s cup weekend so good luck to all teams but remember there’s no extra time, so it’s straight to the dreaded penalty shoot out if the game ends in a draw. Home team must also pay the match officials. #magicofthecup #LetThemPlay

@PaddockWoodFC Us too. We are holding off any return to training at this time.

Following the updatd FA guidelines, the managers of Paddock Wood FC have decided to delay the return to training until there is a further relaxation of the rules that everyone feels comfortable and safe with. We hope to return soon.

While we understand many are keen to return to training, we are awaiting for official guidance from the @FA and @DCMS which will ensure that sessions meet social distancing measures and safeguarding requirements. This is a unique and complex situation. We will keep you updated.

It is with much sadness that I have to report that Colin Boswell our life president and president of @KentFA sadly passed away overnight after a short battle with cancer - a true legend of Kent football who will be sadly missed - RIP my friend 😢😢⚽️⚽️
