In 8 days I leave on my first big research cruise. I fly to Guam along with a team of international scientists, from where weโll embark on R/V Thompson. We will use ROV JASON to sample vent fluids at the serpentinite-hosted ecosystem Shinkai Seep and recover forearc peridotite!
