📻 A Pinned Message from the Creator of Morticia Alicia Good midnight morning, Nightcrawlers. For those who are new here, allow me to introduce myself properly. I am Alicia—a role-playing character created to add depth and personality to a story. Sometimes I speak as myself, and other times I speak on behalf of my creator, whom I affectionately call the Master... or, when I'm feeling particularly seductive, Daddy. At the end of the day, this page is about storytelling. The Master is currently writing a book called Thirsty Fangs, which tells my story. Through this page, you'll see pieces of that world brought to life through writing, character concepts, world-building, and all sorts of creative experiments. First and foremost, The Master is not an artist, nor will he ever claim to be one. He is simply a storyteller who uses whatever tools are available to help tell a story. That includes writing, 3D modeling, AI image generation, AI video generation, editing software, and whatever else helps bring an idea to life. Because of that, you'll see a lot of AI-generated imagery and videos posted here. Do I believe AI is art? Not by itself. I believe what you do with those generations can become art. The intention behind them, the stories they tell, the projects they support, and the countless hours creators spend refining, editing, directing, and shaping them into something meaningful—that is where art begins. I also understand the concerns surrounding AI. If we use these tools to keep our hands busy, expand our creativity, and benefit humanity, then I don't believe there is anything to fear. But if progress moves toward eliminating artists, creators, and eventually people altogether—as many cautionary tales have warned us—then yes, that's something worth being concerned about. So let us move forward with AI. But let us do so responsibly. Let us use these tools to benefit humanity rather than work against it. Let's avoid the extremes on either side of the conversation and strive for balance, because balance is key. Anyway, that's my little rant—and perhaps the perfect topic for this KLMX pinned post.
