I would have been eager to be mentored by an experience woman IP physician. Unfortunately, this was not an option. I joined WIIP because I strongly believe in its mission.

Today is Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell’s birthday - the first female physician in the United States in 1849. She paved the way for women physicians like us! And we will continue to pave the way for those who come after us because we still have a lot of work to do! #wiipstrong
