We are the regional network that is made up of the West Midlands Parent Carer Forums. We are a representative group supporting regional Coproduction within SEND



It’s 2022 we need to move away from professionals meetings. Parents and professionals are one team when supporting a cyp why would the team have another meeting without key people there. It’s old fashioned and silo working. Parents are the biggest stakeholders!!!

You can be articulate and academic and still have high support needs for everyday living. This is another autism myth,those who can advocate don’t also have high support needs. This is why autism is described as a spectrum and individuals have spiky profiles.
