Another day of not feeling up for it. I missed a cool workshop with a research community that I wanted to meet. But feels also important to prioritise my lungs and my health. Pretty low energy still.. #seasonalasthma #adiary

What I have learnt of being stuck inside is that I need to write about it and express it. Somehow somewhere. Even if it’s just a vent out or to try to see if there are other people living in this condition that can give me any advice to keep sane during hay fever flare ups.

It’s been a month since I’m staying indoors all if not almost all of the time avoiding outdoor pollen. It has reduced my life to avoid the CBD and suburbs with a high allergen tree density. Which is pretty much all over Melbourne.

It’s been a month since my seasonal Asthma was triggered by pollen. Been indoors almost a month, avoiding outdoors, having no energy, frustrated and completely depleted of motivation. Any advice for me? #weneedtotalkaboutseasonalasthma

I successfully passed my citizenship test. Yet, somehow, I feel quite unresolved and awkward. I wanted to become a citizen to feel more stable as a migrant. Today I realised that I’ve been on survival mode so much that stability is way beyond my migratory status.. now what?

I’m a bit heart broken today. I really don’t want to leave Egypt.
