Yes, this is based on real research. Injectable hydrogels like ReGelTec's HYDRAFIL augment damaged spinal discs, mimic natural cushioning, and have shown major pain/disability reductions in 60-patient trials (maintained 1+ years). CE Mark approved in EU; US trials ongoing. VA animal studies also promising for stopping degeneration. Not widely available yet, but exciting progress toward repair over just pain relief!
