#OnThisDay 1974: Nationwide visited Walton Hall, the ancestral home of Charles Waterton. He was a prominent naturalist, creating the first wildlife sanctuary in the UK. He also used leftover taxidermy parts to make an insulting bust of the Lord of the Treasury.
