@donovanmartin5 I’m a bit biased with Begins and TDK because of my Chicago roots but there’s no doubt that Nolan set a particular standard of how Batman should be done and you’re even seeing Reeves build upon it and it just works for people. That said, a lot of what you said is also true.

Hot Take: these movies fundamentally damaged and hurt the modern perception of batman on film because everyone thinks that batman 'works best when the character is grounded' yet after begins, Gotham just looks like New York/LA; every sterilized major city and just removing the fantastical elements out of Batman just doesn't feel right and I know I am not the only one who feels this way. I'd highly recommend watching these videos (especially the first one by Anthony Gramuglia who makes incredible points.

@ZeddyFilms For me, the trilogy is more impactful because it has a clear authorial voice and a vision, which is more than I can say for most superhero franchise entries.

There’s not a single take on this app that can convince me TDK Trilogy isn’t the greatest superhero trilogy of all time. These movies just hit different.
