Germany has failed to win a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council. Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul (CDU) secured 104 votes in the General Assembly, falling 23 short of the required two-thirds majority. It is the first time Germany has missed out on a rotating seat.

@r1kardOnline @NikolaGrmoja Da, i 1993 su jedinice HVO prelazile slobodno okupiranu teritoriju od strane četnika kako bi napadali zajedno Armiju BiH kao npr. I u Kiseljaku u April-Jul 1993. I to sve nakon masovnog protjerivanja i ubijanja Hrvata u Posavini. Pametan bi se ovoga stidio.

Germany’s Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul on why Germany lost UN seat: There's our rock-solid support for Ukraine. It is no secret that Russia does not want such a voice at the table — and campaigned against us. It also may have cost us votes that Germany must always assume a special responsibility for Israel with regard to the Middle East conflict. We will continue to live up to our historical responsibility — even as we criticize specific policies of the current government.

Das ist die Folge der anmaßenden Baerbock'schen Außenpolitik, anderen Staaten mit hoher moralischer Attitüde Belehrungen zu erteilen, die Außenminister Wadephul bedauerlicherweise fortsetzt. Die Bedeutung Deutschlands in der Welt ist damit einmal mehr auf ihre tatsächliche politische Größe zurechtgestutzt worden. Das kann und muss man ändern. WK
