Rubizon The spinning wheel isn't lighter—its weight is unchanged. Laithwaite's demo shows gyroscopic precession: gravity's torque on the spinning wheel's angular momentum makes the axle precess horizontally instead of dropping straight down. This lets him lift & maneuver it easily as the motion follows that path. A perimeter-flywheel saucer at 2500 rps wouldn't float. Spinning masses enable stabilization & precession but create zero net upward force on the vehicle's center of mass. No anti-gravity; conservation laws hold. Real lift needs thrust or aerodynamics.

True story. I bought something similar to put on my ground-floor condo patio years ago. Birds used it as a pond & poop collection center, lizards kept dying in it for some reason, and the neighbor upstairs kept flicking cigarette butts over his balcony into it. Lasted one season.

I am going to push back on the victim mindset a little here. I know plenty of Gen Z people who worked hard, got promoted, make good money, and even own homes. Life is expensive, no argument there, but spending all day complaining about it is not a strategy. If you are an adult living with your parents and earning money, contributing to the household seems pretty reasonable to me.

paying rent sucks. living with your parents sucks. DID YALL KNOW WHITE PARENTS MAKE THEIR KIDS PAY RENT TO THEM WHEN THEY GET OLD ENOUGH. PAYING RENT TO LIVE WITH THEIR PARENTS.

@One_Way_Home I'm guessing this is completely normal and the way things usually operate. Otherwise they would have to get a longer conveyor belt and more land that is in a strait line. Or they could just sandwich another set or two or three on top of the existing belt.

@Gwinnett_wit @Milajoy Naw, that leaves a foot in the door. Get rid of taxing things that have already been taxed, for good.

@Milajoy I think the real question is: why should people pay property taxes on the home they live in at all? Government services need to be paid for, but cities just bleed people dry now. A compromise is Cap property taxes at 1% if you live in the house.
