@MotherMcGinty @catturd2 Yes! I worked in the produce section at Meijer years ago. I cut a case of cilantro one night and the smell stuck in my nose and on my hands for days. A lot of soap and showers later it finally disappeared. I changed departments after that. Cilantro and I do not get along.

Even a hint of cilantro destroys a great recipe. To me it doesn’t taste like soap…something similar but worse but I can’t identify what. If you accidentally pick some from a garden you can wash your hands and blow your nose repeatedly and even shower and that damnable smell won’t go away. It stays in your nasals or something.
